The 62nd International Choir Competition Spittal an der Drau 2026 is a long-established choral competition held in Spittal an der Drau, Carinthia, Austria, with a history dating back to 1964. Set in the Renaissance-style Schloss Porcia, outstanding amateur mixed choirs from around the world compete in artistry and cultural identity. From 2027 onward, the competition will move to a biennial format (once every two years), making the 2026 edition an important transitional milestone.

【カテゴリーB（民謡）/ Category B (Folk Song)】
・自国の特色を表す民謡3〜4曲（10分以内）
・民族衣装の着用を強く推奨
- 3 to 4 folk songs representing the choir’s national character (up to 10 minutes)
- Traditional/national costumes are strongly recommended

16名以上45名以下の混声合唱団（SATB）
Amateur mixed choirs (SATB) with 16 to 45 singers.
【資格 / Eligibility】
アマチュア合唱団に限る（指揮者はプロ可）
Open to amateur choirs only (professional conductors are permitted).
【選考 / Selection】
応募資料に基づき、審査委員会が参加団体を選出します。
Participating choirs are selected by the jury/selection committee based on the submitted application materials.

締切：2026年2月8日（必着）
提出物：指定の申込書、合唱団の略歴、1年以内に撮影された写真
Deadline: 8 February 2026 (must arrive by the deadline).
Required documents: official application form, choir profile/biography, and a photograph taken within the last year.

EUR 50 per person.

歌唱者（最大45名）、指揮者・随行員（最大3名）、バス運転手（最大2名）の計50名まで
Up to 50 persons total: singers (max. 45), conductor and accompanying staff (max. 3), and bus driver(s) (max. 2).
【費用に含まれるもの / Included】
期間中の宿泊（多床室）および食事代
Accommodation (multi-bed rooms) and meals during the competition period are included.
【その他 / Additional persons】
50名を超える追加の同行者は1人あたり250ユーロ
会場までの交通費は自己負担
Additional accompanying persons beyond the 50-person limit are charged EUR 250 per person. Travel costs to/from the venue are the participants’ own responsibility.
